Bidayuh Small Basket (Tombok)

These exquisite rattan baskets are handwoven by the Bidayuh people in Sarawak and Kalimantan. Usually woven by women during non-harvesting seasons, the weavers usually belong to an extended family, who come together at a designated house to weave during the low agriculture seasons. Each basket takes approximately 1.5 days to complete, depending on the complexity of the design.
These versatile baskets make great planters, or you can pop them in your home as a tidy for organizing toys, vegetables, socks, etc!

Material: Rattan

Note: This is a handmade product, dimensions and color may vary by up to 1.5cm from those shown in the photograph.
